So I admit it... I am a very bad blogger. Our family blog hasn't been updated since, ummm, August! I have been posting sneak peaks on my facebook page for people to see.

So I've decided to do a little catch up while also blogging some current photoshoots. So things may get a little out of order, but some cute little faces deserve their time showcased here too. I thought I'd start with the fall mini sessions. Thank you to everyone who came out for fall minis. It was a great success and so much fun! These are a few of my favorites!

This year was full of wonderful families, gorgeous children and beautiful memories. It was so hard to pick my favorite photos - but here are some the highlights from 2011. (Some of these you may have seen on my facebook page or on the blog -but they were too beautiful not to repost!)

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! Things were so busy at our house, plus this was my busiest fall season to date - full of family portrait sessions, holiday cards, and a few little newborns who squeeze in there too! I have lots and lots to blog about. Sorry I am so behind! So I will leave you with this holiday image I took for clients and friends of mine of their two year old son and new daughter and promise there will be many more posts as I share some of my favorite images from this fall.

Becky's Girls :: Victoria Family Photography

Becky got a Squishy Prints gift certificate for her baby shower when she was pregnant with her first daughter, back in 2009. Through the years she and I tried numerous times to get together. However, illness, pregnancies, childbirth, and even geographical location, kept interfering every time we tried to meet. Fast forward to this fall and we finally got a chance to meet and I got to photography Becky and her beautiful daughters. We also discovered that we now live around the corner from each other! A belated welcome to the neighbourhood to this cute family! I look forward to seeing these beautiful ladies more often!

Meet Baby Girl Elliot :: Victoria Newborn Photography

This little princess was born on October 9th... (so if you write her birthdate out day-month-year... she has the birthdate: 9-10-11, how cool is that!)  She was a wonderful one week old baby that tolerated all the things we had in store for her photos.  Here are a few of my favourites from her session.

This is an old pram that was given to the family and Elliot is wearing a baby gown from her daddy's side of the family that has been passed down from generation to generation for over 100 years!

The Chan Family - Sneak Peek :: Victoria Fall Photography

Over the Thanksgiving weekend I had the pleasure of photographing one of my favorite families - the Chans. This is the third year they have given me the honour of being their photographer. (Click here to see the first year and here to see the second year of photos). The kids did fabulous working with me, and "Evil Dr. Porkchop"! Thanks again to my wonderful friends, who as usually looked fabulous!

And of course, we had to take a silly break!

Meet "Big" Ben :: Victoria Family Photography

I can't believe I almost forgot to blog these photos! Sorry Benji!

Ben's mom and I have been friends since we were two years old. Gillian's family moved away when we were eight... but a year and a half ago, she and her husband moved back here. It was wonderful timing, because it meant I got to see her become a mother for the first time. Ben was well over 9 pounds at birth, making Gillian my new superhero momma! Thanks Gill, Ryan and Big Baby Benji for letting me capture these moments for you!
